Due to a recent medical issue I needed legal help with a short term disability claim. A large corporation had wrongly decided to stop payments and denied my claim. I have never needed legal representation before and had no idea where to start. I am very happy with my choice of Marc Snyder as my disability lawyer. Marc handled my difficult/unusual disability case with determination and assurance of getting me the denial of disability overturned. Marc knew that this reputable insurance company was known to reject 98% of claims right off the bat, and knew exactly how to handle them. I was forced to find an attorney because my LTD cancelled my benefits not once but twice. I called around until I found an office that would take my case. If your looking for a great lawyer to represent you when you’re applying to Social Security for Social Security disability. Then you need to go with Attorney Mark Snyder. For 2 years I collected long term disability insurance from my employer and suddenly was arbitrarily denied coverage. Not only did they abruptly end my benefits, but also, they made the decision retroactive by 2 weeks. Luckily, I filed for Social Security Disability when my short-term disability coverage ended. It took 2 years for the state to schedule a SS hearing. I was using the attorney provided by the insurance company. DO NOT DO THIS! If you have a disability or an ERISA case, hire a PRIVATE attorney. Thankfully, I contacted Marc Snyder, Esquire of RMS Law as soon as I received the denial of coverage letter. If you receive a similar letter of denial it is imperative that you call an attorney and NOT the insurance company. Attorney Kellyanne Parry Inverso represented me at the Social Security Disability hearing and provided pre-hearing support and guidance. Her expertise during the hearing kept me focused and calm which resulted in a positive outcome of two year’s retroactive SSDI. Attorney Marc Snyder represented me in the long-term disability ERISA case against the insurance company. It is intimidating to go against a big insurance company, but I felt that he was aggressive enough and was going to fight for me. Attorney Snyder is experienced, knowledgeable, thorough, patient and readily accessible. All questions and phone calls I had were answered within hours! He was able to successfully settle my ERISA case without having to go to trial. Marc Snyder has all of the qualities I could ever have hoped to find in an attorney to handle the appeal of my disability claim. He is extremely knowledgeable and up-to-date concerning all areas of disability law, and is very experienced and successful in mounting and winning appeals and claims for his clients. He is professional and thorough, and does all of the casework himself so that he knows the complete history, as well as every detail and nuance, of each case and can prepare the best claim/appeal possible. I first contacted Marc when my long-term disability insurance was terminated at the time of the two-year review. I have multiple sclerosis, a progressive disease in which symptoms and functional abilities worsen over time. The onset and determination of total disability caused by MS are not always clear-cut or agreed upon by doctors and insurance companies.Thankfully, Marc took my case. He met with me at length, reviewed all of the records and documentation, identified what additional testing and evidence were needed to clarify my ability/inability to work, communicated with all relevant parties, and pulled it all together.
